The Prophet (ﷺ) promises us that there are butterflies of gold waiting for us to enjoy in Jannah; the seven butterflies signify each of the seven heavens.
One of the things that really motivates me in this dunya is to reflect on that ahadith and ayat in the Quran that describe Jannah.
The promise of eternal bliss and luxury keeps me pushing through the difficulties we face, and the promise of being reunited with loved ones keeps me patient.
One scene I imagine is that of the birds of Jannah that are surrounding al-Kawthar (one of the rivers of Jannah), whose necks are the lengths of giraffes.
But my favourite of all is imagining the gardens of golden butterflies in Jannah that the Prophet (ﷺ) promises is waiting for us.
